BIOTRIAL’S EXTENDS ITS PRECLINICAL FACILITIES IN RENNES AND BECOMES A PARTNER OF THE THERA-TECH PROJECT!

Biotrial is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Preclinical facilities in Rennes, in response to the growing demand from our clients and to further strengthen our commitment to advancing medical research.

In addition to that, Biotrial’s Preclinical Department collaborated with University Rennes 1 and Pontchaillou Hospital to build TherA-Tech adjacent to Biotrial’s Headquarters in Rennes.

This collaborative project is led by the Rennes 1 University (LTSI, Signal & Image Processing Laboratory, INSERM UMR 1099) and the Pontchaillou Hospital (CIC-IT 804), in partnership with Biotrial’s Preclinical Department is a Preclinical integrated infrastructure for therapies by implantable medical devices and image-guided interventions.

It involves the creation of a 5800 sq. ft. interventional technical platform that includes state-of-the-art imaging devices (MRI, Scanner), as well as physiological signal collection and analysis capabilities. The main objective is to combine science, technology, and industry by setting up an innovative research facility –cultivating the design, development, evaluation, and deployment of new technological solutions dedicated to therapies using implantable medical devices. TherA-Tech is an excellent addition to TherA-Image, a technical platform dedicated to patients, thus expanding the translational preclinical-clinical capabilities in this critical domain.

This remarkable project will significantly increase Biotrial’s Preclinical Services and enhance our ability to deliver the highest quality preclinical research services to our clients. TherA-Tech complements the existing TherA-Image technical platform dedicated to patients, further expanding our translational preclinical-clinical capabilities in this critical domain.
